About
Maisie Newell and Eric Dayan lead their homegrown family band, starring four children (ages 2 to 13) for a toe-tapping concert of Downeast and French Canadian contra dance tunes. The Twitchell Hill Fiddleheads will also play classical and Roma music from eastern Europe. This multi generation band has been passing down the oral tradition, playing for contra dances all over the state nearly every weekend. Maisie and Eric have also played around the world!
The event is generously sponsored by Mac's Hardware in Unity, and will kick off with a potluck dinner (We hope to share a harvest of fiddleheads!) and end with a live auction.
