Christina Wesolek
Director of Operations
Christina grew up in New York exploring the outdoors every chance she was able. In addition to having a passion for the outdoors, she is dedicated to working with local communities and indigenous peoples, and is an advocate for student-centered, placed-based education. Christina received her Ph.D. from Antioch University New England where her research focused on endangered species conservation, conservation psychology, environmental identity, community engagement, and community-based conservation initiatives in Kefalonia, Greece. Her work has included communities and groups in the United States, Costa Rica, Greece, and Africa. Since 2018, Christina has volunteered as a coach and mentor for the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders Initiatives.
